My two puppies and I went on a visit to someone’s house last weekend. There were several plants in the house. My puppies decided to eat part of a plant called a Hydrangea. I stopped them when I saw them do it. About an hour later, they both looked like they were foaming from the mouth. Upon closer inspection, they were vomiting and I found about 8 different spots where they had thrown up. Long story short, they continued throwing up for the next few hours but ended up being OK. The vet said if they had eaten more, they could have died. If you have pets, please be careful of the plants you have in your house. For a list of SOME poison plants, visit the ASPCA.
I would like to introduce my newest pet. His name is Spencer. He is a Solomn Island Eclectus. I have raised this little dude since he was a few weeks old. I even hand fed him. His is super cool, nice and very smart. His breed is one of the most mellow of all parrots. They are also one of the best talkers. I will post more about him later.
Since I am on the topic of animals, here are some random pictures I took of my pets on 4/21/2005
